This course is a combination of the Utah (taught in its entirety) permit requirements and the Nevada permit requirments as required by Nevada State Law. It will cover the proper and safe handling of firearms, laws pertaining to the carry of concealed firearms, the use of deadly force to protect yourself or others and the proper legal, ethical and moral behavior that those that carry concealed firearms should exhibit. This course has a written exam and a practical exam.(Nevada only) Students should come prepared to spend the whole day in a classroom or on a range.
As of July 1st, 2011, all Nevada applicants only need to qualify with one revolver and one semi-auto handgun. Passing this qualification will allow you to carry any model of revolver and semi-auto.
Utah does not require any live fire exercise.
